Today I have swatches of the three nail polishes from MAC's Venomous Villains collection.
Bad Fairy - MAC describes this as a red with multi-changing red pearl, however there are definitely flashes of gold and pink. It has a distinct foil like finish on the nails as well. This was the only unique colour out of the three. As you are probably all aware, the other two are dupes for two of Orly's Cosmic FX colours.
Formidable! - MAC calls this teal green with pink multi-changing pearl, however I think that the base colour of this is more of a deep plum/purple with teal shimmer. It's almost like MAC got the description the wrong way around! :P This one is a dead on dupe for Orly Galaxy Girl.
Mean & Green - MAC calls this purple with teal multi-changing pearl. I think they had another brain fart with describing this one because it most definitely has a green/blue base and is packed with tons of shimmer that flashes yellow, green, pink or copper depending on the angle. This is a dupe for Orly's Space Cadet, however I found Space Cadet to be a little more opaque than M&G. This took a whopping 4 coats to get rid of all the patches.
Like Space Cadet, this was a hard one to photograph, but the outdoors photo below gives a pretty accurate indication of what M&G looks like on.
It is no surprise that these polishes are sold out everywhere. If you are thinking of forking out the cash on eBay to get one of these and you have easy access to Orly, I would skip Formidable! and Mean & Green and get Bad Fairy only. x
