Today I had to do a makeup job for a friend who was attending a wedding and I wanted my nails to look special, so I chose CND's new "The Look" Night Factory Duo for Fall/Winter '10.
The set consists of a dark teal creme polish, Urban Oasis, and a sparkly teal microglitter "effects" polish, aptly named Teal Sparkle.

Prior to buying this set, I only had one CND colour in my stash, Guava, which I love for its flawless application and quick dry time. Urban Oasis is no exception. This polish applied ridiculously well and dried to a smooth glossy finish after 2 coats.
I then applied one coat of Teal Sparkle. I was worried this would leave my nails with a gritty, bumpy finish, but the flakes and glitter are so small, it dried smoothly. Teal Sparkle flashes blue and green depending on the angle, and it is simply stunning!
The two colours together create the most amazing combination!

As you can probably tell from the picture spam, I am totally enamored with this duo! CND have really outdone themselves with this little set.

ReplyDeleteI am actually wearing the OPI Ski teal we drop which is slightly darker than Urban Oasis and I was wondering how to play it up. It so happens I have a CND effects called Sapphire Sparkle which is really similar to the one you used! Thanks for the inspiration!
