Gimmie Crackle Now!!!!

China Glaze just sent me a PR email about the Crackle Glaze collection, which you have all seen before so I wont post it, but it's making me super impatient to receive my order!!! Ahhhh! Back order sucks!! I want them now!!!

OPI Not Like The Movies & Black Shatter

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I spent my weekend doing wedding stuff. I think I have finally found my bridesmaid dresses and shoes, and the gifts for my guests, so I'm really excited!

Today, a package finally arrived with some of the OPI Texas and Katy Perry collection colours I ordered, but much to my dismay, half the order was missing!!! I'm just hoping that the other polishes are just on back order.

The only Katy Perry colour that arrived was Not Like the Movies, so that's what I have on tonight.

Not Like the Movies is a silvery lavender duochrome that flashes green and pink. It also has some sparkle thanks to the silver microglitter.

Born Pretty Store Review

Hey everyone! Today I have a review of some products I was sent by Jessica at Born Pretty Store. 

This is the first time I have ever been sent something to review so I'm a little excited about it!

Here's what I was sent:

I was also sent some 3D steel nail art balls but unfortunately the wheel broke during transit.

I have only had a chance to use a couple of the products but I'm pleased to say that I wasn't disappointed with the ones I did try.

First up was the Kelier Nail crackle polish. I used two coats of China Glaze's Flip Flop Fantasy first, left it to dry for 60 seconds and then applied a thin coat of the crackle polish. At first, nothing happened.....

But after about a minute or two, the crackle started forming and the end product was actually pretty good! I have only tried a couple of other crackle polishes in the past (Krackpolish & an aussie one) and they either haven't cracked properly or as they cracked, the also flaked off! The Kelier Nail crackle polish didn't flake at all!

The other item I used was the stamping plate. I used two coats of Essie Luxedo and then some Konad Special Polish in White.

I only stamped one finger because it was super late at night and I was being extremely lazy, but it seemed to work ok (I am by no means a konading expert, but I was happy with the result anyway! ha!). I tried a few of the other designs on the plate as well and had no issues with stamping any of them.

If I get time on the weekend, I will try and have a go with the dotting tools and the rhinestones....
