Best-laid plans......

What's that famous saying??? "The best-laid plans of mice and men / Often go awry".... My best-laid plans definitely went awry in the past few weeks! I don't want to bore you with a million excuses about why I haven't been blogging, so I'll give you the Reader's Digest version - 1. We are trying to buy a house and we had all sorts of issues with that; 2. I have been a little unwell the past few weeks, but thankfully I'm feeling wayyyyy better now; and 3. My mum has been visiting from Hong Kong and had to have surgery..... Unfortunately, that's only the "newsworthy" stuff! There's more!

 

I know what you are all thinking - "how dare her real life interfere with blogging!!"... Well I'm sure you aren't thinking that, but that is what I am thinking! Anywho, I'm kind of back, again.... kind of...  I keep saying I'm back and then I disappear and make another comeback (I feel like John Farnham with his 500000000 comeback tours!)! The reason I say "kind of" is because I am finally going on my honeymoon on Friday, so unless I find time to swatch, edit and upload enough photos before I leave, I wont be posting from Bali. I'd offer to schedule posts, but that is just far too ambitious for me I have realised! 

So instead of promising the world, what I think I will say is this.... I have HEAPS to show you guys and I WILL get through it all, but it won't all happen straight away. I would love to do a post showing you my wedding mani and another post on ABBW before I go to Bali, so if I get those two done this week I'll be stoked! When I get back from Bali I can then focus on catching up on all the reviews I want to do. I think this plan is far more realistic and will take some pressure off me and allow me to enjoy my honeymoon without worrying that I have abandoned you all! Hope this is ok!? :) Lots of love!

I haven't forgotten about the announcement of my 1500 Follower Givwaway winner! I promise! I've had a few emails from people asking when it is going to be announced and the answer is, SOON! :P You wont believe it but there were over 2000 individual entries for this giveaway!!! When you add in all the additional entries we are talking nearly 5000 entries! hahahaha! INSANITY! So please be patient with me. I will announce the winner really soon!

Just so you know, this is only a start of what I will be selling. There is a stack more nail polish to come, including some HTF's as well as more MAC makeup! I have been hoarding MAC makeup for about three years now and I just dont use it all, so I have decided it is best I find some new homes for my lovelies!

Update & Giveaway Reminder!!!

Hey everyone! First of all, apologies for the lack of posts over the past week. My week in Hong Kong went by so quickly! I spent pretty much every day and evening out and about with my parents and sister so I didn't have the time to do any posts. I feel like a giant puffer fish now from all the eating! But I am back home now, so I will get back into regular posting this week.

I also have to apologise for not replying to all the comments you guys have been leaving. I know how much I hate it when a blogger doesn't respond to my comments, so I am truly sorry for slacking off in that regard. I promise by the end of the week, I will have replied to all your comments.

On a different note, I have had some emails and comments from some followers who have been having difficulty with viewing the photos in my posts. Unfortunately, I have not been able to detect this issue using my computer. So if there are specific posts that you read which have issues, can you please leave a comment below with the name of the post so that I can fix it up. I have started using Photobucket instead of Imageshack to host my photos, so hopefully that rectifies the issue. It would be wayyyy too time consuming to reload all my photos for each post, so for the moment I prefer to fix the issue on a post by post basis.

I also wanted to remind everyone that there's only a couple of days left to get your name down for my 500 Follower Giveaway. I have had an enormous number of entries for this giveaway, but I promise it won't take me as long as it normally does to post the winner. As you probably noticed, I used a Google Form this time which takes a lot of the hard work out of sorting the entries. Tomorrow I will also be announcing the OPI Giveaway Winner, so stay tuned for that! 

Finally, after much thought, I have decided not to do another giveaway for reaching 1000 followers. This is only because I already had some other giveaways coming up in April and I anticipate I will reach 1500 followers soon!! Crazy stuff!!! Soooooo, I will stick with my original plans and just hold the giveaways I was going to do anyway, simply because I love you guys! :)
